Lisa Gardin has designed the 2026 National Day labels for Sources Rosport’s glass bottles

To mark Luxembourg’s National Day, Sources Rosport is launching the fifth limited edition of its returnable glass bottles this year. For this year’s artistic collection, the brand has collaborated with Luxembourgish illustrator Lisa Gardin, who has brought her own unique take on National Day to the Rosport Classic, Rosport Blue and Rosport Viva bottles.

When Pop Art meets Luxembourgish tradition

Lisa Gardin is known for her colourful and uplifting visual style, her work inspired by manga and Japanese culture, and her bold use of pop colours. Her unique visual language convinced Sources Rosport to collaborate with her. “We were immediately captivated by Lisa’s unique world. Her fresh, modern and trendy style inspired us to step out of our comfort zone and reinterpret the National Day in a modern and trendy context,” explains Max Weber, director of Sources Rosport.

This year’s edition is the result of an exciting creative exchange. Whilst Sources Rosport stepped outside its usual visual comfort zone to embrace the artist’s dynamic, pop-inspired visual language, Lisa Gardin also dared to venture in a new direction. Instead of her usual colour palette, dominated by shades of purple, and her often Japanese-inspired motifs, she immersed herself intensively in the study of Luxembourg, its symbols and the significance of the National Day. At the same time, she adapted her design to the well-known brand worlds of Rosport Classic, Rosport Blue and Rosport Viva. The characteristic blue and green tones of the three product ranges thus formed the creative framework for her designs.

The result is three modern and expressive designs that blend Luxembourg’s national identity with Lisa Gardin’s distinctive touch. The labels combine tradition with contemporary flair, a sense of local connection with creative openness – and tell the story of a successful dialogue between the artist and the brand.

“What appealed to us about Lisa was her ability to preserve her own artistic identity whilst creating something entirely new. She immersed herself in our brand’s world without losing her own personality. The result is fresh, surprising and unique,” continues Max Weber.

A tradition that showcases Luxembourg’s creativity

With its annual art edition dedicated to the National Day, Sources Rosport has been committed for the past five years to showcasing the diversity and creativity of Luxembourg’s art scene. These limited-edition labels offer local artists an exceptional platform to present their work to a wide audience, whilst offering a fresh perspective on the National Day. Illustrator Lisa Junius kicked things off in 2022, her distinctive blue visual style blending perfectly with the Rosport Blue identity. Thanks to the positive reception this initiative received, it quickly became an integral part of Sources Rosport’s National Day campaign. This was followed by Liz Kummer’s colourful creations, inspired by the National Day fireworks, Ruth Lorang’s poetic drawings, and Cindy Hergaux’s tender and emotional interpretation.

Available now in shops

Lisa Gardin’s limited-edition artist labels will feature on the 1-litre and 0.5-litre returnable glass bottles in the Rosport Classic, Rosport Blue and Rosport Viva ranges. The bottles are available now in shops (supermarkets, drinks wholesalers and other outlets), whilst stocks last. As the bottles are produced in limited quantities, Sources Rosport recommends that all fans of the brand don’t wait too long to buy them.
